Set is a card game invented by Marsha Falco in 1974 and launched by Set Company in 1991. There are 81 cards in SET, which have four characteristics that differ: quantity (1,2,3), pattern (diamond, oval, and wave), texture (solid, striped, and hollow) and color (red, Green and purple). In a deck of cards, a combination of four characteristics (such as three green solid diamonds) will only appear once and will not be repeated.
